Dreal & UTAC

The Dreal inspects vehicles if ANTS consider that a vehicle does not comply with French regulations.

The Dreal will require the headlights to dip to the right and the Rear Fog Light to be located in the middle or left side of the vehicle.

The Dreal charge €86.90 for the inspection, payable on the day of inspection...at the moment by cheque.

It can take up to 3 weeks or more for an inspection date and 45 minutes for the inspection itself.

We will complete all documentation and organise the place and date of inspection.

                                      UTAC

The UTAC service is only required when the Dreal cannot decide on a vehicle component and requires further investigation and clarification. 

The UTAC inspection is very expensive at a minimum cost of €2300.

There is only one inspection site located at Montlhery south of Paris.
